We have lots of hardware around here, and this page is a brief inventory. The house is networked,
including an 802.11b wireless setup for the notebooks, so everything is or will be connected by
wireless or cat 5e. The whole system is connected to the internet by an SDSL line.

The new gateway machine running IP Masq, IP Tables Firewall, Web, and eMail...
This is the main server on the network... Oh by the way it also hosts the site you're reading =)

transferring cassettes to CDs.
- Apple iMac G4 800, 768MB RAM, 60GB HD Space, Mac OS X - My wife's main box.
- Apple iBook G3 700MHz, 640MB RAM, 20GB HD Space, Airport Wireless, Mac OS X - My new mobile box.
OS X just rocks my world.

My wife's mobile box.

mobile box. Seems the PCMCIA slots are going on this, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this.
- 2 x Netpliance iOpener - Waiting for setup using the
Linux Terminal Server Project as terminals for our
intranet in the new house.
- Sony Picturebook C1VN, Dual Boot WinME and RedHat Linux 7.1 - Deceased, cracked screen =(
- IBM PC 330, Winchip2 200 CPU, 64MB RAM, 1GB HD Space, Built in S3 video, 15" Generic Monitor, Mandrake
Linux 7.1 - Decomissioned... this was the old network server... I'm not sure what I'm going to use this
for

Decomissioned... I think the motherboard in this box is dead, I need to check it out and verify its

- NeXT Cube - One of my projects... the box currently needs a new motherboard as the SCSI Controlled is dead.
Something else that will wait until after I've got a few bucks to spend on hardware.
