Ok, WTF?!?! Out of Ovechkin, Datysuk, and Malkin freaking Ovechkin won BOTH the MVP awards? Datysuk and Malkin are both twice the player Ovechkin is, and do more on the ice than cherry pick goals. And WTF was up with awarding the Art Ross and Rocket Richard trophies at the same freaking time? Was it too much to let Malkin actually get some spotlight on his own since he is one of the premier players in the league?

All I can say is
I was too worn out from celebrating last night to blog (I haven’t blogged about it much recently, but I’m a HUGE hockey fan and we have a 1/2 season ticked package with the Pens and were at every other home playoff game :metal:)
I’d just like to take a moment to say “screw you, Hossa” for jerking around the organization and fans at signing time last year and for publicly stating he had a better chance to win the Cup in Detroit. It’s also amusing to note that thus far Detroit has made no moves to extend his one year contract.
A shot to commemorate the playoff beard before it gets shaved off.

In the definition of irony, Steve Ballmer calls for Apple to support openness on the iPhone. This is awesome coming from the CEO of the company that practically invented vendor lock in
Ballmer argued that device openness was important to give customers more choices. And he pointed to the number of choices that Windows Mobile customers have when choosing a device.
“I agree that no single company can create all the hardware and software,” he said. “Openness is central because it’s the foundation of choice.”

An objective look at why things aren’t as bad as they’re being painted and why the government spending trillions of dollars they don’t have my not be a good idea.
This Is No Time to Panic
Also, on a related note, could somebody in Congress or the White House perhaps look up the word “inflation” and consider what they’re about to do? K, thx bby

Woohooo Change! Apparently as long as it doesn’t apply to the government’s powers to listen in on phone calls with no judicial oversight…

Could I just take a moment to say how completely sick I am of stories like this. This woman in NY with three kids took out a mortgage that there was clearly no way she could pay and lost everything. This isn’t a case of somebody in need because of dire circumstances beyond their control, this is a case of somebody making INCREDIBLY STUPID DECISIONS. Anybody with two functioning brain cells should be smart enough to not take out a mortgage with a payment $100 less than what they earn per month. I feel bad for her kids having such a pathetic role model.
This idea that seems to be gaining credibility that people shouldn’t be accountable for their own stupidity is really distressing. I just have no sympathy for people like this. Personal accountability people.
